On Saturday, 22nd November 2026 (date to be confirmed), A Celebration of Life returns to St James’ Priory to bring people together from across Bristol and the South West to remember and celebrate the lives of friends or family members who they have lost through alcohol and other drugs.
BDP and Bereavement Through Addiction warmly invite you to join us at this event.
Schedule
Doors will open at 3:30pm and the ceremony will start at 4:00pm and last for approximately an hour. This will be followed at 5:00pm onwards by refreshments and a chance to meet others and chat.
Get involved
We welcome contributions to the ceremony if you would like to get involved. In the past, people have shared readings, songs, poems, prayers, and personal stories. If you would like to share a photo of a loved one to be included in the memorial presentation, that would be great.
If you would like to contribute something, please contact George Herbert at george.herbert@bdp.org.uk or call 0117 987 6000.
